Trade Envoy

Lord Puttnam was appointed as Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy in 2012, a position within the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) government department.  The purpose of his role is to engage with emerging markets where substantial trade and investment opportunities have been identified by the UK government and to promote British business and trade interests abroad. Lord Puttnam is currently Trade Envoy to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
